  3. Day 3 Sunday

    Ever wished you could close your eyes and transport yourself to a place where deserted golden beaches stretch for miles alongside native bush and lapping waters? Rise early and prepare for a day in the Abel Tasman National Park with the experienced team at Wilsons Abel Tasman.

    Cruise the length of the spectacular Abel Tasman coastline to Totaranui, viewing the fascinating Seal Colony at Tonga Island Marine Reserve along the way.

    Return to the golden expanse of Anchorage Beach to walk a pleasant 3hrs 30mins (11.5kms, 7 miles) along the easiest section of the coast track, with spectacular views over Tasman Bay. The track winds through sunny Kanuka forest with hidden fern grottos and crystal mountain streams. At Marahau, rejoin your coach at 4.00pm or 5.30pm.

  4. Day 4 Monday

    Morning

    Breakfast Morrison Street Café.

    Start your day at one of the local’s favourite cafes. Set in a historic Victorian building on Hardy Street in the central city, their menu changes seasonally and they are renowned for their fine coffee. Head chef, Karen Eden, tailors her dishes to what is available through the year. Preservative-free sausages from nearby Wakefield, local free-range eggs and home-made baked beans are the basis for the Morrison Street Local Breakfast.
